All I Need to Know

I know the sun will rise and inevitably set

And there’s still a lot I’m learning, yet more I just don’t get

Like there’s no black or white, no violet, no red

Just anihilated photons, at least I think that’s what I read

And that’s all I really need to know

I know when clouds are filled with tiny grains of dust

They collect up all their water and turn iron into rust

And though the planets move they never do collide

Perhaps a certain separation helps all things to survive

Well that’s all I really need to know

There’s no news I need to hear

No tales of woe and fear

And catastrophe, they love it so much

I know I make myself blind

But they won’t pollute my mind

With their needless speculations

And when coping is the hardest thing you do

Be safe in the knowledge, nothing’s really eating you

‘Cause all the we perceive as fear and pain

Is nothing more than chemicals racing round our brains

And that’s all you really need to know
